Santa brought Parker a cribbage board in his stocking this year, so I've re-learned how to play and he and I usually play a couple of games a night. While I love playing Hungry Hungry Hippos with the little boys, it IS nice to play a game that requires some minimal strategic thinking HA!
I used to love cribbage! Grandbabies are just getting introduced to Chutes and Ladders; they still play "freestyle" meaning start anywhere, move anywhere, quit shortly after starting! Looking forward to many years of game-playing!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! We got scrabble for christmas and I sometimes go blank thinking of words!
ReplyDeleteHuh. What an interesting idea. I've heard of this game but never played it. I tried chess once and couldn't keep it all straight. Ditto for Texas Hold 'Em. Perhaps I'll try cribbage. I'm very intrigued now..
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever played cribbage. Have memories of my dad and grandpa playing, though.
