Tuesday: LEI jeans (consignment), Gap babydoll top (GW), Maurice flats (GW)



Today: Christopher & Banks walking shorts and tunic (tunic: GW), my FAVORITE lime green Born sandals (consignment, years ago)

I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy again this Wednesday---not because anyone there will find inspiration in what I wear though, HA!! I do get motivated by blog-hopping from there though =)
Pretty simple week here----I've started clinicals, so Thursday and Friday meant I was head to toe white, and NOONE wants to see that!!!!!

Parker's Confirmation

Last night Parker made his confirmation---a very long time coming, HA! In our Diocese you do it as a high school junior when most (it seems) do it in 6th or 8th grade. At any rate, his next sacrament is marriage--a LONG time from now, HA!!
The Bishop was pretty humorous, which helped the pomp and circumstance of the 2 hour ceremony move along =) Parker had "warned" me that no phtographs during Mass were allowed, but plenty of parents must not have gotten the memo and when the Bishop kept pointing out photo opportunities the flashes were firing off like paparazzi (well, almost!)

Show Us Your Life--Mother's Day

I'm playing linky party today with Kelly's Korner (her link is in my sidebar---I'm having trouble embedding links =( She hosts a party every Friday, but obviously I don't participate EVERY week, but am this week!) It's how you celebrate Mother's day and for us that almost always means a trip to Gov. Dodge for a picnic and fun time, we've been doing it since Arielle was a few months old! These are some pictures from 2010, so it could be a Flashback Friday as well, HA!!

What I Wore Wednesday...

Thursday: I had great plans to wear something else and then didn't like how it looked, so out came what I knew would pass. LEI Kali cuffed capris (consignment), Gap babydoll top (goodwill), Black cardi from Target, Herringbone flats from Target, MULTIstrand pearls from a local boutique. Got multiple compliments on the necklace and shoes =)



Friday: Kept is simple, Gap jeans and Gap button down--both consignment. Black belt from Kmart!



On Monday: Kay, I thought this was kind of fun! Black T by Christopher & Banks via Goodwill, Olive jumper (Target via consignment), Black leggings from Maurices. Flower pin and ring from a local boutiqe

Today: White T (Goodwill), yellow cardigan (consignment) and jeans, all by Christopher and Banks. You can't see the shoes, but they are from Maurices, via Goodwill

Menu Planning Monday!!

It's Monday again!! Does any day of the week come around any faster?! We did well with sticking to our plan last week, except I did go out of town on Saturday night, so Parker "cooked" frozen pizza for himself and the little boys!
We're moving into golf season now, so though I'll PLAN on a full week of menus, they are definately subject to tweaking depending on where he might be playing on what day. Noone will starve though, I promise!!

Happy Birthday, Niki!

My sister turned 40 last week!! This Saturday her husband had a surprise party for her and she was indeed surprised =) Kurt wasn't able to go (work), so I stagged it and had a fun night with some family members.
