Menu Planning Monday!!

Tis Monday!!! This week I'm linking back up at I'm an organizing junkie (which, for some odd reason I'm not able to embed the link in my post, but you can always find her in my sidebar!!) after not doing it for a couple of weeks. As the holidays get closer, my menus get a little looser, but as long as I'm feeding the people in this house as I am required to by law, all is good, HA!!
Monday: Treated boys to Culvers
Tuesday: Hamburger pie and biscuits
Wednesday: Papa special (beef tips over noodles) green beans
Thursday: Taking my final online, will leave Kurt in charge!!
Friday: Something with ground beef
Saturday: Pork roast, potatoes and veggie
Sunday: Chicken in some way, shape or form

Here comes Santa Claus...

Every year Santa arrives on a fire truck at the PFD to listen to the Christams requests of the kids and grandkids of the volunteer firefighters that serve our community, like Kurt =) We've been going every year since Paxton was a few months old and while the first few times meant tears and speechless staring at the man in red, they are both really, finally into "it". They both had things to tell Santa, including a nice thank you for the stocking filled with yummies =)

Open Wide!!

Beckett goes to the dentist, AKA Mommy's work--HA! Kurt had to work an odd shift recently so he brought Beckett to my office and we found a way to entertain him! He had a cleaning, complete with several Xrays because he's a wiggler =) One of those pictures showed a little cavity, which he had filled today and did a WONDERFUL job of being teh patient!

Cards!!

A couple of weekends ago I pulled out all of my fun stuff for making cards and got creative. It's a project too because I don't have a dedicated space for doing it--dining room table, look out!!! These were a few of my favorites =)

Charlie's back!!!

And he's doing a fine job of watching for good behaviors to report back to Santa!

Menu Planning Monday!!

Yes, this does still exsist here!! I know I've missed the last couple of weeks--between illnesses and other odd scheduling situations, I've not posted an "official" weekly menu plan (and am not quite sure this one qualifies either!), but rest assured, noone here is wasting away--HA!
Monday: Soup and sammies (it's COLD here, perfect meal!)
Tuesday: Pork chops, pasta, peas
Wednesday: Kurt will be in charge!!
Thursday: My last class for the semester--better tell the boys
Friday: Something in the crockpot b/c we will go see Santa at the FD
Saturday: FD Xmas party, so we'll be out
Sunday: My office Xmas party, same as above

Christmas Shopping!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas--and oh in so many ways!!!! We got snow--lots of snow! About 6 inches I believe! AND, the trunk of my car is giving lots of clues that it's that time of year again too, HA!
This weekend I am at my BFF's house near the Quad Cities and we are hammering out our holiday shopping--quite successfully too, I might add =) Hopefully we will have lots of happy faces in both of our homes in just a few short weeks, I know there are two happy faces here that did all of that shopping!!
