CARDS!

One of my very favorite things to do is make homemade cards. But I am sad to say that it had been FAR too long since I had made any and FAR-ER too long since I'd really mailed any out with great regularity. Both things that I hate. It was such a poopy, dreary weekend that I decided to start hauling stuff out and just create. I don't have a dedicated area to do this, so the dining room table and kitchen counter/bar area become pretty darn crapified while I'm in stamp, punch, glue, repeat mode. It was worth the effort--I made 35 cards and I'm pretty happy with all of them, I can't always say that, trust me! And who knows, one could be showing up in a mailbox near you someday soon =)

A couple of weekends ago I pulled out all of my fun stuff for making cards and got creative. It's a project too because I don't have a dedicated space for doing it--dining room table, look out!!! These were a few of my favorites =)

The weather was absolute pants here today--cold, windy, rainy--just all around poopy! So since I spent yesterday reorganizing my card making supplies I had the urge to make me some cards today. I didn't pull EVERYTHING out, so no heat-embossing or cuttlebugging, I kept it pretty simple really. Here are a few of what I came up with

This summer was such a bad one for me to carve out any time to sit down and do what I enjoy. Between class and all the other summer activities, it just didn't happen. So then my big plan was to get all creative while I was home from work post-surgery. Yah, didn't happen then either.
