This picture is 3 years old already! I can't even lift one of these boys now, much less two. I know Daddy can handle one easily--not so sure he can reproduce this pose though =)

I mentioned to Arielle just this week how it's time to get Xmas card pictures done. Already! Man this year has whizzed by. In honor of that conversation, this weeks FF are some shots from our Xmas card taken 3 years ago. Look at how small the little boys look. You may also notice it is from this grouping that the photo for my blog heading came from--HA! That is on my to-do list, a blog makeover, to keep it fresh for my tens of readers =)

I was looking through some older photo albums the other day (yes, I still print photos!) and came across a bunch of a couple of vacations that Kurt and I took with the big kids before the little boys made an appearance.
The Spring Break before we were married we took the kids to California for a week and hit Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. DCA had only been open for about 3 weeks when we got there. Needless to say, someday we need to get the little boys to a Disney!!! Everybody needs to go at least once in their lifetime =)

This one is a FF AND a pre-cursor, since Parker can start golf practice on Monday!! I'm not saying they'll be out on any sort of course on Monday, considering we are waking up to 20 degree temperatures lately!! They'll be swinging clubs in the gym for the first little bit, I predict =)

Since Parker got his letter in the mail today offering him summer employment at the pool again this summer (although it was for an attendant and he recently completed his lifeguard training and was/is hoping for a guard position and the letter was for an attendant. Please cross your fingers that the guard offer is forthcoming!!!). Anyhoo, it made me want to look for some past pool pictures to share with you today!!!

AKA "have you met Beckett's tongue?" Holy smokes----I was looking through some older pictures to see if there was something I wanted to use for FF, and a recurring theme kept throwing itself at me. Beckett has his tongue out. A lot it seems! Egads, it sure explains the perpetual state of chapping that afflicts him in these cold months!!!

Can it really be that THREE years have gone by since we were on the hunt for the perfect prom dress? How did that happen so fast?! I've noticed that the dresses are on display, so that time of the year approaches!!
A little backstory on her dress: she came home one day and told me she found the perfect dress and it was ONLY $400 and she was going to order it, OK? Um, NOT OK! I told her no way bay-bay and she promptly told me that was the one she loved, she'd never find another one like it. She and her friends had all already "claimed" their colors and she was lime green. She wanted VERY full, sparkly, strapless and wanted it to lace up the back. Well, Momma went a-hunting on eBay and found a dress with 4 out of 5 requests and Arielle decided that maybe Momma knew what she was doing after all! We won it for a little over $100 and my girlfriend did the minor alterations for us. It was a beautiful dress worn by my beautiful baby girl =)
One of my favorite pictures from that night was the one of the masses of tulle in all the colors that the girls chose---you can pick her out of the crowd even without her face, HA!

Ugh. Beckett is downstairs hacking up a lung with a continued winter cold. I needed to see some summertime action followed by PEACEFUL sleep for our little knucklehead--something he's just not getting much of right now =(

OK, not sure how big this picture is going to show up--playing with my new scanner and have some tricks to learn yet!
I was scanning in some pictures of my BFF and I from a few (alright, many) years ago and couldn't help but slip this one of Parker in! This is probably his 4th birthday and it looks like he got golf clubs =) I'd say they made an impression of the positive nature, HA!
