What I Wore Wednesday...

Not that this weeks outfits that I actually photographed are award-worthy, but I'm linking up for fun at the Pleated Poppy.
HA! After looking at what I took, I'm only uploading one because I look TERRIBLE in the other ones. Really, you should be thanking me....
Today I wore a pair of my Silver shorts (I actually bought these new--big splurge!) the tank is from Kohl's (hard to see but there are a couple of fun rosettes on the neckline--LOVE rosettes, they're everywhere!) and sandals I bought at Gap outlet

What I Wore Wednesday...

Well, clearly, I haven't been faithful to this weekly venture! I've missed a few weeks and this week I only took one picture. What can I say, most things lately have not been noteworthy!!! I'm going to try to link up to The Pleated Poppy for her weekly linky-party, but I haven't had the best luck with links since my laptop came back "from the shop" =(
This I wore last Thursday: The chocolate brown shorts are from NY & Co, via consignment, aqua rosette tank from TJ Maxx, white shruggy thing from Maurices and the "birkenstocks" are flower covered and are from TJ Maxx as well!

What I Wore Wednesday...

Parker's stemposium was last week (pictures to come of that), it was COLD! I wore my Gap boyfriend jeans, a tank-y dress thing from Target, black cardi from Target, my el-cheapo Gap red flats

One picture to share this week. For a variety of reasons: it's crunch time regarding graduation from nursing school. Too busy to snap ONE picture at the end of the day? Yup, some days. Outfits not that exciting =( The background behind me is a disaster (and no, I'm not referring to Paxton's cute little Spongebob bottom you see above!). Of course, this reason refers you right back to reason number one, Grrrrrr! Man will my life change after graduation!!!

What I Wore Wednesday...

Monday: (as always, disgregad the junkola behind me!) Denim top from TJ Maxx, khaki long shorts from Christopher and Banks, sandal/slide/shoes from Maurices AGES ago.



Tuesday: White Merona T from Target, Cardi Merona from Target (just got it on clearance!), Khaki pants from Gap via Goodwill, flats from Target via Goodwill




Today: My go-to black leggings from Maurices, Denim dress from Target, black flower pin from a local boutique

Wednesday is here again! Hump day! Time to link up to The Pleated Poppy and her weekly linky party where everyday bloggers post their weekly wardrobe selections, kind of a way to make one think about getting dressed in the morning instead of falling back on sweats or jammies--which would be SUPER easy for me to do since once I get to work I change into scrubs that are waiting for me, freshly laundered, ironed and waiting in the closet!! I don't currently, as a rule, post Thursday or Fridays since I'm in clinical and am wearing head to toe white and NOONE wants to see that!!

What I Wore Wednesday...

Friday: Clinical was spent in the classroom doing case studies and presentations. Gray dress from Goodwill (I forget the brand, but when I bought it then looked it up online, this dress starts at $40 on eBay!), leggings from Maurices, denim jacket from Kohls, jewelry from a local boutique.



Monday: White T (Goodwill), T-shirt from my school, Calvin Klein jeans (consignment), tennies from Kohls



Tuesdsay: Christopher & Banks mock twinset (Goodwill), Christopher & Banks jeans



Today: Head to toe Christopher & Banks: jeans, tank, sweater and scarf. Not that you can see it, but my ring is from a boutique in LeClaire, IA (the home of American Pickers from TV) and my earrings came from Maurices.


My laptop is back home!!!!! Just in time to link up to The Pleated Poppy for her weekly "What I Wore Wednesday". Not that I'm inspiring anyone with my fashion creations, but I have fun doing it anyway =) PLEASE pay no attention to all of the STUFF on the floor around me!!!

Today: Christopher & Banks walking shorts and tunic (tunic: GW), my FAVORITE lime green Born sandals (consignment, years ago)

I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy again this Wednesday---not because anyone there will find inspiration in what I wear though, HA!! I do get motivated by blog-hopping from there though =)
Pretty simple week here----I've started clinicals, so Thursday and Friday meant I was head to toe white, and NOONE wants to see that!!!!!

Thursday: I had great plans to wear something else and then didn't like how it looked, so out came what I knew would pass. LEI Kali cuffed capris (consignment), Gap babydoll top (goodwill), Black cardi from Target, Herringbone flats from Target, MULTIstrand pearls from a local boutique. Got multiple compliments on the necklace and shoes =)



Friday: Kept is simple, Gap jeans and Gap button down--both consignment. Black belt from Kmart!



On Monday: Kay, I thought this was kind of fun! Black T by Christopher & Banks via Goodwill, Olive jumper (Target via consignment), Black leggings from Maurices. Flower pin and ring from a local boutiqe

Thursday: White Christoper & Banks t-neck (goodwill), Black trench (TJ Maxx--$10!) Gap jeans (goodwill), black flats. Didn't LOVE this one, I felt I looked very hippy



Friday: Green dress (goodwill), Gap boyfriend jeans, Cardi from Target, flats from Gap Didn't love this outfit---a little too much cleavage today!



Monday: Head to toe Christopher & Banks, even the watch!



Tuesday: Black studio 21 top (goodwill) Calvin Klein jeans (goodwill) black flats (consignment) necklace from Kohls--I get lots of compliments on it!


Today: white Daisy Fuentes top (goodwill), Calvin Klein jeans (same as yesterday, goodwill), red flats (Gap---major clearance)

Well, I managed to get a picture every day this past week (well, weekends don't count!) and am going to link up again to The Pleated Poppy. I'm even go to try to get the words under the right pictures---big day, guys--HA! I had a couple of getups that didn't really rock my world, seeing the picture helped me decide that =)

What I Wore Wednesday...

Trying something new, we'll see how long it "sticks". I came across a darling blog ( www.thepleatedpoppy.com ) and each Wednesday she hosts a linky party for other bloggers to post what they wore, hence the title of the post! She started it as a way to "force" herself out of sweats and jammies and to put a little effort into getting ready for the day! While I don't typically leave the house for work in my jammies (I am fortunate enough to have my scrubs waiting for me at the office), a more presentable me could be had (you know, for any surprise lunch dates I might have the opportunity to accept, hint hint!) PLUS, I'll be able to track what I REALLY wear (so I can weed out the rest) and can also truly see what works on me and what doesn't. Because while I love my husband to death, he would never tell me yay or nay--HA!!! You'll see I relish the thrill of the bargain when I shop too!!! I obviously will have to get better at the self-photo shot and perhaps pick up the CRAP on the floor behind me when I shoot!!!
I will also have to play with loading the pics so the text that "goes" with them is put UNDER them individually!! Here goes:
