1st Grade=HOMEWORK

UGH! Now granted, it's not HARD homework (even for Paxton), but the HARD part is just getting it done! This kid is a 3rd generation procrastinator, and I'm thinking that the trait strengthens as it transcends each era. Once he sits down and resigns himself (with or without "encouragement") it's usually a pretty quickly done deal--but MAN, GETTING there is 7/8's of the battle.
Any great tips that anyone has for this we'd gladly attempt here!!!

whoa... don't envy you at all! My daugher is 27, and she still procrastinates!
My advice (for what it's worth) is to set aside a time each night. The SAME time, so it becomes habit or second nature.
I Always let my daughter wait till after supper. (usually while I was in the kitchen washing dishes) I know some parents who made their kids do homework right after school. I think that is a bad idea, because they had been at school ALL day using their brains.
Good luck, and if you should happen to try it, let me know how it goes!
