Day 2 in Green Bay

One of the main reasons for our trip to Green Bay was because the National Railroad Museum is located there. Which is RIGHT up the little boys alley!! They were duly impressed and enjoyed it a lot, as did Kurt and I! They have some super displays (I love me a diarama!), interactive exhibits, several trains--some of which you could tour inside, and an actual train ride =)
It was a drizzly day so we didn't explore all that we could have, but the boys were thrilled with what we did see. Oh, and let me tell you their absolute favorite part: in the gift shop is a Thomas the Tank Engine train table all set up with track, a few buildings and some trains---ALL of which we have at HOME!!! Yet THAT'S what we had to pull them away from--HA!!

We hope to visit that museum in the next few years. We're visiting the Illinois Railway Museum soon and my little guy is so, so excited.

Of COURSE that's what you had to pull them away from. It's like the boxes at Christmas. Boxes are always the most fun part and it's not like have never seen a box before! I love this little trip you all are on and can't wait to see more. I'm judging my desire to visit Green Bay on this trip. No pressure. ;)
