Homework
Tuesdays and Thursdays are homework nights for Paxton. Some days it is a NIGHTMARE to convince him it needs to be done, other times he is bouncing off of the walls in excitement to knock it out! Luckily tonight was a happy night =) It makes for a funner evening when he gets silly about doing it, that's for sure! Daddy is in charge while Momma takes pictures---HA!

The rest of the story...
A couple of weeks ago, while eating out the boys each scored a balloon. Yay, right?! Well it was for a while. From Pizza Hut we went to a birthday party. Grandma and Papa were already there and the boys wanted to take their helium balloons in to show them. Keep in mind that this party was taking place in an old church that had been converted into a community-type center. Now, most old churches feature high, arched ceilings. This one was no different. We TRIED to tell them the potential perils involved when you combine helium-filled latex with small boys and factor in incredibly high ceilings. Nope, they WOULDN'T let go of them. They WOULD be very careful with them. They WOULDN'T cry if they got away.
Fast forward 5 minutes: we are sitting inside near Grandma and Papa, balloons have been properly admired. Jump ahead about 90 more seconds: I hear Paxton sobbing and as I turn to look at what I already know happened, I see Beckett's head at a 90 degree angle to his torso.
Now some might think it was heartless of a Momma to whip out her Canon and start firing pictures, BUT--Momma is a blogger AND they were told countless times that this would be the outcome, so even though I was sad that Paxton was sad, I kept shooting =)

Wisconsin Dells!
Home of the World's Largest Indoor Waterparks, dontcha know? Well, I don't know if we were at THE largest one, but it was fine for this trip. Arielle, the boys AND my school were all on Spring Break last week, so Kurt thought we deserved a little time away (who am I to argue with logic like that--HA!) so he made weekend reservations at Great Wolf Lodge. Of course it was crowded, but we had a (mostly) wonderful and fun time--minus the 5 minutes of panic when Beckett got out of our sight!! Of course I took lots of pictures, but blogger only allows 5 at a time, so I know you're all grateful for that!!

Truthful Thursday--New Year's Resolution Update!
So one of my "vows" at the start of the year was to be wiser about spending money--doing my best to only buy on sale or with coupons, both is even better!!! This post is sharing some of my very recent bargains--for the little boys, because they always are better dressed than Momma, HA!
The pic of 6 swimsuits are all from Gymboree, which CAN be a pricey place to shop. BUT, they were having a Spring Break sale, so they were all marked down from $19.50 to $12.99. Good news in itself, right? BUT, I had a 30% off coupon to apply as well!
The other shots are of my foray into the Gap this afternoon. A co-worker's daughter works at a Gap and had a bunch of Friends and Family coupons worth 30% off of your total purchase, regular or sale price so you bet I grabbed one! The suits weren't on sale beyond that 30%, but I did get 2 pair of jeans for Paxton for school next year and an adorable pair of plaid shorts and the matching T and those were already marked down--the jeans were marked down twice in fact!
One tidbit of "advice": sign up for the emails from your favorite stores. Yes, they may flood you with emails, but they can really pay off in savings!!
